Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

As a Terminal Operator at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include:ย 

  • Driving Operational Efficiency: Manage and optimize the daily operations of our terminal, ensuring seamless logistics and customer service.ย 
  • Mastering Material Flow: Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of bulk materials, adhering to all safety protocols.ย 
  • Maintaining Our Machinery: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on terminal equipment, ensuring everything is in peak working condition.ย 
  • Championing Safety: Uphold Cemex's rigorous safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA regulations.ย 
  • Delivering Outstanding Service: Act as a key point of contact for customers, resolving inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.ย 
  • Collaborating for Success: Work closely with our logistics team to optimize schedules and resources, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.ย

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Educational Foundation: A high school diploma or GED is required; additional certifications or training in welding, electrical work, or maintenance are a plus.ย 
  • Experience: Experience in terminal operations or a similar industrial setting is preferred.ย

A positive, solution-oriented attitude, with the ability to work well with both customers and colleagues. Capability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks. ย
