Mammography Tech
Performs a variety of Mammography exams for patients. Applies principles, theories and techniques of Mammography imaging to provide reliable imaging results.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
  • Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
  • Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
  • Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
RequirementDescription:
  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program [REQUIRED]
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist's certification in Radiography and Mammography modalities [REQUIRED]
  • Current Oregon license [REQUIRED]
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) [REQUIRED]
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

EXPERIENCE
  • One year previous experience in Mammography [REQUIRED]
  • Experience in stereo biopsy preferred [PREFFERED]
