Job description

The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a temporary part-time Events Assistant to join a national association as they prepare for a busy event season. They are specifically looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. This is a 4 month temporary assignment, 25 hours/week, and is available immediately. This is onsite Tuesday-Thursday.

Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinate and plan event logistics
• Collaborate with events team to ensure a successful event
• Work with catering, IT and AV, and other vendors
• Prepare post-event data analysis and reports
• Maintain timely communications with internal and external teams
• Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications Include:
• 1+ years of meeting planning experience in a professional environment
• Strong internships will be considered
• Proficient in MS Office
• Customer service oriented
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional communications skills

Compensation:
• $22/hr+ DOE

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
