Job description

About Arboreal Management
Arboreal Management is a mission-driven property management company focused on affordable and workforce housing in the Pacific Northwest. We've grown quickly to manage over 5,000 homes with integrity, care, and a commitment to long-term community success. Our strength lies in combining strong operations, deep compliance expertise, and modern technology to deliver exceptional outcomes for residents, partners, and regulators.
About the Role
Arboreal Management is seeking a Relocation Case Manager to support residents through a major renovation at a HUD-assisted apartment community in Seattle.
This is a rare opportunity to play a hands-on role in preserving and improving affordable housing while directly supporting families through a significant transition. Over the next year, this community will undergo substantial upgrades - including renovated homes, new roofing, and improved common areas - designed to ensure long-term quality housing for the residents who call it home.
As the Relocation Case Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for approximately 62 households during the renovation process. You'll help residents navigate temporary relocation logistics, coordinate accommodations and resources, answer questions, solve problems, and provide consistent communication throughout the project. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on residents' day-to-day lives.
This is a temporary, full-time, on-site position expected to last approximately 12 months, with the potential to become permanent. Compensation ranges from $27-$36.75/hour plus benefits, depending on experience.
Arboreal Management oversees more than 7,000 affordable and workforce housing units across the Pacific Northwest. We believe deeply in long-term stewardship, operational excellence, and investing in communities that residents are proud to call home.
We're looking for someone who is organized, empathetic, calm under pressure, and comfortable working directly with people during moments of uncertainty and disruption. Experience in case management, social services, property management, community engagement, or related fields is strongly preferred, though we welcome applicants with transferable experience and diverse professional backgrounds. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with HUD-assisted housing, resident services, or URA relocation is a plus, but not required.
If you're looking for work that is people-centered, mission-driven, and tangible in its impact, we encourage you to apply.
Arboreal is a drug-free workplace, and we use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires
