- Assess the current financial situation of participants by creating and completing individualized budgets with program participants.
- Provide information and referral services to assist participants in identifying and understanding financial, social, housing, and medical resources
- Provide one-on-one financial counseling sessions to set goals, assess progress, and address ongoing barriers towards participants' self-sufficiency and long-term financial objectives
- Oversee and coordinate the Youth Financial Literacy Program with the Children and Families team
- Maintain accurate records of financial counseling, information and referral services, budgets, workshops, attendance, and other documentation in databases
- Create, prepare, and process programmatic paperwork
- Research and develop new financial education curriculum and materials
- Develop relationships with community partners to enhance cultural and resource navigation
- Conduct financial literacy orientations on topics including taxes, credit, banking, and budgeting
- Monitor and evaluate financial literacy programming
- Complete necessary reporting requirements
- Maintain firm boundaries and manage difficult conversations around money in a culturally competent way
- Develop and coordinate new pilots and programs as team capacity allows, and in accordance with WRWW's strategic plan
- Coordinate with and train other staff members across teams in all WRWW locations in providing financial literacy and other related services
- Coordinate and oversee tasks with volunteers and interns
