Job Summary
UK Healthcare staffs special events with physicians, nurses, paramedics, and EMTs. This position will fulfill the role of an Registered nurse during UK staffed special events, primarily at Keeneland race track meets. You will be responsible for providing emergency medical care within the Kentucky Nursing scope of practice.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Currently possess Kentucky RN licensure, as well as BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Understanding of emergency care procedures.
Skilled in conducting physical assessments and identifying medical emergencies.
Excellent verbal skills for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and the public.
