Job description

VACANCYBoys Track Coach

Centerville Senior High School is accepting applications for the position of Boys Track Coach for the 2026–2027 school year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the boys track and field program while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and academic success among student-athletes.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous coaching experience in track and field or a related sport.
  • Knowledge of track and field events, training techniques, conditioning, and competition strategy.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate student-athletes while promoting teamwork, personal growth, and a positive team culture.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of sportsmanship and representing Centerville-Abington Community Schools in a positive manner.
  • Must meet all IHSAA, school corporation, and state coaching requirements.
