Dental Hygienist | Part-time | Temporary

Chelmsford, MA

Join our dental practice where patient-centered care is our top priority. TeamstersCare is seeking a compassionate Temporary Part-Time Dental Hygienist with excellent chair side manner to join their established practice serving the Local 25 union members and their families. 

 A valid Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License is required. 

Compensation:

  • Up to $55 per hour 

Shift/Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule with evening and Saturday shifts available

Essential Duties:

  • Provide excellent patient care including
  • Cleanings, assessing oral health, and providing good hygiene practices
  • Create a welcoming environment for patients
  • Manage the patients’ comfort during the appointment, including reducing anxiety
  • Conduct and maintain compliant sterilization practices 
  • Collaborate and consult with the Dentist on medical history and precautionary measures
  • Take x-rays as requested
  • Other duties as assigned by the dentist

Education/Certifications/Licensure 

  • High School Diploma
  • Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License
  • X-Ray and CPR/AED certification
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental software
