Install Team Leadย 

The Install Teamย Leadย oversees and supports a team ofย Temporaryย Install Team Membersย during a 13-week traveling installation program within grocery retail accounts. This roleย is responsible forย coordinating in-store merchandising setups, including the installation of hardware and initial product placement for an impulse clip strip program. The position requires regular travel within an assigned territory, adherence to a structured schedule, and direct supervision of team members to ensure consistent execution.ย This role is temporary with the potential to become a permanent positionย at the conclusion of the installation program, dependent upon performance.ย 

Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesย 

  • Lead and supervise a team of merchandising install team members across assigned grocery retail locationsย 
  • Coordinate daily schedules, assignments, and travelย logisticsย to ensureย timelyย completion of installationsย 
  • Oversee installation of merchandising hardware, including clip strips and related display componentsย 
  • Ensureย accurateย and consistent execution of product placement according to planograms and company standardsย 
  • Conduct on-site quality checks to confirm displays are secure, compliant, and visually consistentย 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, supervisors, and store personnelย 
  • Train and support team members on installation processes, tools, and reporting requirementsย 
  • Monitor team performance and provide real-time feedbackย and issue resolution in the fieldย 
  • Complete and review required reporting, including photos and installation documentationย 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated installation or merchandising issuesย 
  • Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.ย 
  • Comply withย all company policies and procedures.ย 
  • Complete special projects and otherย duties asย assigned by supervisor.ย 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitiesย 

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skillsย 
  • Advanced attention to detail and ability to interpret and enforce merchandising standardsย 
  • Solid mechanical aptitude for installing fixtures and hardwareย

Experience and Credentialsย 

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experienceย requiredย 
  • Must be 18 or olderย 
  • 1 to 2 yearsย previousย merchandising, grocery,ย or retail sales experience preferredย 
  • Prior experience leading teams, supervising field staff, or coordinating projects preferredย 
  • Ability to use manual and power toolsย 
  • Flexible availability to accommodate schedule requirements during the 13-week programย 
  • Ability toย move,ย lift, push, pull, and carryย up toย 50ย poundsย constantlyย and be on feet for 3 to 8 hoursย consecutivelyย 
  • Must haveย and useย reliable transportationย 
  • Mustย possessย and produceย a valid state driverโ€™s license with proof of current automobile insuranceย coverage, unlessย utilizingย other means of transportationย 
  • Must have access to and be able to use a smartphone capable of runningย and usingย the required applicable company-relatedย softwareย programsย and business tasks like ordering, GPS tracking, and time recording.ย 
  • Must be computer literate and able toย operateย a smartphone or tabletย utilizingย different applications andย theย internet for company business, like ordering GPS tracking, and time recordingย 
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English isย requiredย
