Job Summary:

The Grocery Inventory Specialist is responsible for keeping store shelves stocked, organized, and clean to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. This role includes unloading deliveries, stocking merchandise, rotating products for freshness, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload, sort, and stock products onto shelves, displays, and storage areas.
  • Ensure items are correctly priced, faced, and labeled according to store standards.
  • Rotate products according to FIFO (first-in, first-out) guidelines to maintain freshness.
  • Replenish shelves and displays throughout the day as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom, aisles, and shelves.
  • Safely use equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, and box cutters.
  • Check for damaged, expired, or missing items and report discrepancies.
  • Assist customers in locating products when needed.
  • Support other departments and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
