Job Summary

We are seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to support a Post-PACU Holding Area caring for fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting discharge or inpatient bed placement. The ideal candidate will have Med Surg/Telemetry experience, strong cardiac monitoring skills, and preferably post-operative patient care experience.

 Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to post-operative patients awaiting discharge or admission
  • Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
  • Manage IV therapy and peripheral line care
  • Administer medications and follow heparin protocols
  • Utilize Rapid Response and Code Team resources when needed
  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC

Requirements Active RN License Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience BLS Certification required EPIC experience required Post-operative patient care experience preferred First-time travelers accepted
