Compensation: $120k-$140k, depending on experience.
Position Duration & Employment Status:
This role is expected to last approximately six (6) months to one (1) year, and is classified as a temporary position. While there is a possibility of conversion to a regular, full-time role based on individual performance, business conditions, and organizational needs, there is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the initial assignment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Senior IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage complex projects that are critical to the success of our mission. You will oversee project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring alignment with Legence's goals for sustainability and efficiency. This position requires an individual with a strong background in project management, exceptional leadership qualities, and a deep commitment to driving innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple high-impact projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technology, sustainability, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and best practices across projects.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Effectively manage project budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial performance.
  • Utilize project management software and tools to enhance project planning, tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within the engineering, technology, or sustainability sectors.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Prior hands-on experience with construction ERP systems such as Spectrum and/or Trimble
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or similar tools.
