Job description
The Temporary Recruiter supports high-volume telesales hiring by identifying, screening, and advancing qualified candidates through the recruiting process. This role partners with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring teams to maintain a strong candidate pipeline while delivering a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Review applications and evaluate candidate qualifications against established hiring criteria.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit.
- Present qualified candidates to the appropriate hiring team for next steps.
- Schedule interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure all recruiting activities are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs.
- Respond to candidate questions and provide timely updates throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and operations leaders to support hiring priorities.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and productivity goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and hiring guidelines.
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Experience recruiting for call center, customer service, sales, or telesales positions preferred.
- Strong interviewing and candidate screening skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting seasonal or volume hiring initiatives.
- Experience recruiting remote employees.
- Healthcare or insurance industry recruiting experience.
