Job Description:

At Homelink Corporation, we provide 24/7, 365 temporary housing nationwide, and have been a leader in our industry for over 20 years.  Our solutions have a real impact on every person we assist, from the policyholder to the insurance carrier.  We take pride in delivering fast, reliable services that are backed by a strong and caring team.

Our Temporary Hotel Billing Coordinator is responsible for collecting and auditing our hotel invoices to ensure accuracy. They will partner with our Accounting Department to process billings to our customers.

This position is to support a temporary assignment, duration of assignment is flexible based on business needs. During the assignment, hours will be part-time, with a schedule of 20+ hours a week. This job operates in a fully remote environment. 

Essential Responsibilities:

โ€ข    Gather, review, and reconcile hotel invoices (folios) to ensure appropriate charges for a customer hotel stay were applied.  

โ€ข    Address billing discrepancies found and follow up on corrections. 

โ€ข    Support with the preparation of hotel invoices.

โ€ข    Daily written and verbal communication with co-workers and customers.

โ€ข    Update internal files, databases & spreadsheets and maintain accurate records.

โ€ข    Provide exceptional customer service to vendors.

โ€ข    Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to provide solutions to appropriately address billing discrepancies and customer needs. 

Job Requirements:

โ€ข    High School Diploma required. Bachelorโ€™s degree in accounting/finance or hospitality preferred.

โ€ข    Entry-level experience in an Accounting or Hospitality environment.

โ€ข    Familiarity with accounting systems and processes a plus.

โ€ข    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

โ€ข    Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas).

โ€ข    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

โ€ข    Able to organize and coordinate tasks with great attention to detail.

โ€ข    Strong typing (data entry) skills. 

โ€ข    Experience with Salesforce or another CRM software preferred. 

โ€ข    Professional, compassionate, and friendly demeanor.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This job operates in an remote environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in both a verbal and written manner and must have the ability to hear and verbally respond during interactions with staff and customers. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands through fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
