Front Desk Receptionist (Property Management)

About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing property management firm, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in property management, real estate, or HOA environments who are looking to grow their career within the industry.
Position Overview
As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a key role in delivering a high-quality experience to residents, property owners, and vendors. The ideal candidate understands the pace and priorities of property management operations and can confidently manage resident inquiries, administrative tasks, and office coordination.
Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist residents, prospective tenants, clients, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Answer and route calls related to leasing, maintenance requests, rent payments, and general inquiries
  • Support property managers with day-to-day administrative tasks and communications
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with residents and vendors
  • Maintain accurate tenant and property records in management systems (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium)
  • Assist with rent collection processes, including payments and account inquiries
  • Manage incoming mail, packages, and office organization
  • Ensure the front office remains organized, professional, and responsive
Qualifications
  • 1-3+ years of experience in property management, real estate, or HOA management strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with leasing processes, maintenance coordination, and resident communication
  • Experience with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium, or similar) highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, especially in resident-facing situations
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
