JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Bible Media Group (BMG) Administrative Support Assistant
Reports To: Manager, BMG
Full Time โ˜’ Part Time โ˜ Temporary โ˜ On Call โ˜
Exempt โ˜’ Non-Exempt โ˜
Job Summary
Provides day-to-day support to both BMG and Studio, manages schedules, ensures smooth in-office operations, and handles project management as assigned by the Leadership Team. Part of the Publishing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
  • Understand Bible Media Group and OneHope-its history and culture; governance structure, staff, and Board; programs and projects; and other constituencies.
  • Supports in tasks such as booking flights, events, meetings, and conference calls
  • Assists in managing calendar, deadlines, priorities and more.
  • Assists with phone calls, mailings and communications tasks that come up.
  • Serves as liaison between the Leadership Team and the OneHope staff.
  • Responsible for "info email" or any other point of entry.
  • Serves as liaison with the Accounting Department for invoices, contracts, etc. and communicates coding related to budget and expense reports.
  • Responsible for overall office maintenance of the home office, including supply inventory.
  • Responsible for any other projects assigned by BMG leadership.
  • Provide hosting needs for BMG meetings and events.

Education/Experience Required:
  • Associate degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative support roles.
  • Some experience in project planning

Skills and Abilities
  • Computer literate: MS Office, FTP sites
  • A fluent knowledge in English and Spanish languages, verbal and written is preferred.
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong time management/organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail, even under pressure
  • Proactive and self-motivated. A "doer" who is results-oriented, adept at planning, prioritizing, organizing, and follow-through.
  • A good listener; comfortable receiving input from many sources and able to distill the salient points and action items.
  • Use independent judgment and initiative in making sound decisions and in developing solutions to problems
  • Independently prepare correspondence and memoranda in clear and concise manner
  • Plan, organize and schedule priorities
  • Accept and readily adapt to change, including changes in organizational/office structure, management, strategies, business processes and procedures, priorities, etc.
  • Manage assigned special projects
