Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 - 18.00/hr

Duration: 12 months


Join Our Team as a Data Entry Specialist!

Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about ensuring data accuracy? The Resource and Compliance Department is seeking four dedicated temporary Data Scrubbers to support our Lead and Copper Project. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in utility data management, GIS, and asset tracking within a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret As Built documentation to verify service line details and reconcile data discrepancies.
  • Research property build dates and service line addresses using online real estate resources.
  • Maintain and update service line information in Excel files provided by GIS teams.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), specifically “Lead and Copper Rule Revision: How to Reduce Service Line 'Unknown' and Null Pipe Material.”
  • Use INFOR Billing Lookup Accounts (if access is granted) to confirm active service line accounts.
  • Perform detailed data review and verification to support project accuracy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with GIS tools or Geocortex.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow SOPs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in utility data, asset management, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Self-motivated team player with effective communication skills.
