We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and timely information processing for a Contract position based in Long Beac, California. This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working with numeric data, navigating computer-based systems, and maintaining a high level of precision in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will help keep records organized, complete routine data tasks efficiently, and contribute to smooth day-to-day operational support.
Responsibilities:
• Enter numeric and text-based information into computer systems with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Review documents and records for missing, incorrect, or inconsistent details before updating files and databases.
• Maintain organized electronic records to support reporting, tracking, and daily operational needs.
• Process a steady volume of data in a timely manner while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
• Work with manufacturing-related documentation to ensure production and assembly information is recorded correctly.
• Verify entered information against source materials and correct discrepancies when identified.
• Use typing and computer entry skills to handle recurring administrative tasks with efficiency and care.• At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a closely related administrative support role.
• Strong typing ability with consistent attention to accuracy and detail.
• Experience entering numeric data into computer-based systems.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing or production-related environment.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and focus throughout the workday.
• Basic computer proficiency and confidence using digital records or database tools.
• Reliable organizational skills and the ability to follow established procedures.
