Job description

We are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent for a great company! Our ideal candidate have at least 5 years direct experience

Commercial Construction Superintendent Position Requirements

Commercial superintendent experience 5+ years' experience in commercial construction industry

Experience as a field superintendent (GC) or tenant improvement projects

Knowledge of all areas of construction

Proficiency in blueprint / plan reading

Have knowledge and understanding of local labor agreements

Management of an OSHA site visits

Must be computer literate

Must have strong scheduling background, able to fully develop construction schedules utilizing Microsoft Projects

Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook and MS Projects

Experience work with city and other inspectors on construction projects

Demonstrate a professional demeanor

Excellent written and verbal communication

Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions (daily reports, quality reports, accident reports, etc.)

Assist Pre-construction and Project Management to develop an initial project schedule and communicate sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors

.Develop, maintain, and enforce a project site logistics plan and temporary facilities plan

Develop, implement, maintain safety program

Participate with the Project Manager in issuance of monthly progress reports, monthly payment applications, anticipated cost report, and other financial cost reports.

Higher education or technical training a plus 

Salary based on level of experience.
