Job description

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for a Sourcing Data & System Analyst. This position is a hands‐on individual‐contributor role responsible for evaluating, building, and improving the data pipelines, workflows, and tooling that support our digital sourcing. This role works at the intersection of data analysis, systems thinking, and workflow optimization to improve Dodge's digital sourcing coverage, source quality, and data acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between technical execution and strategic data analysis. They thrive in translating messy data problems into structured solutions and know how to bring Product and Technology partners along with them. This is a full‐time position and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Data Analytics.

Preferred Location This is a remote, home‐office‐based role, and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered. For this position, there is a preference to hire in the Central and Eastern Time Zone; however, candidates in other areas/time zones would be considered as well. Travel Requirements Expected travel is minor for this role.

Core Responsibilities Analyze the coverage, completeness, and quality of Dodge's digital construction data sources to identify gaps and prioritization opportunities. Design and maintain shareable SQL queries or Python notebooks, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that surface actionable trends and sourcing performance. Investigate data anomalies and exceptions to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Research, assess, and onboard new digital data sources which could include APIs, web monitoring tools, scraping workflows, and third‐party data feeds. Evaluate data acquisition methods for feasibility, cost, coverage, and quality. Support and document scalable workflows for data acquisition and exception handling.

Develop and maintain SOPs for source collection and research. Support UAT and QA testing for new technical releases and system changes. Partner with offshore teams to coordinate task execution, provide guidance, and QA outputs.

Perform web research and validate web sources for usefulness and reliability. Identify and resolve detection errors, including broken links, redirects, HTTP errors, session timeouts, and access restrictions. Partner with Product and Technology teams to align sourcing strategy and roadmap priorities.

Education Requirement Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields. Required Experience, Knowledge, and Skills 4+ years of experience in programming, data analysis, digital sourcing, data operations, or related technical roles. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with attention to detail.

Comfortable working with incomplete or inconsistent data and can drive process in evolving problem spaces. Experience following and contributing to SOPs, quality frameworks, or operational workflows. Experience with Python, SQL, and/or other programming languages.

Ability to identify patterns in data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in cross‐functional or distributed team environments, including coordination with offshore or vendor teams.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Understanding of machine learning inputs, data enrichment techniques, and third‐party data integrations. Understanding of HTML structure, HTTP behavior, and common web access patterns. Data visualization tools such as AWS Quicksight, PowerBI, Tableau.

Knowledge of the construction industry. Familiarity with cloud‐based data environments. Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Experience with web scraping tools or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar). Experience with MDM platforms, data enrichment techniques, or third‐party data integrations. Experience with web monitoring or change detection tools.
