Overview
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Construction Data Manager in New Albany, OH to support, onsite digital delivery, schedule transparency, and issue resolution across active site construction projects. This role is an onsite, field-focused position embedded within construction teams and contractor environments, acting as a key interface between contractors, client leadership, and AtkinsRéalis digital delivery teams.
This position plays a critical role in helping client leadership understand execution risks, constraints, and support needs by capturing real-time field intelligence, translating contractor input into structured data, and supporting executive-level Power BI dashboards that enable manage-by-exception decision-making.
Your role
  • Work onsite at active site projects to support digital delivery, contractor coordination, and schedule intelligence.
  • Hold regular coordination meetings with contractor superintendents, schedulers, and discipline leads to understand execution status, constraints, and roadblocks.
  • Capture contractor-reported issues, constraints, and support needs by Primavera P6 Activity ID and WBS, ensuring consistent traceability to the master schedule.
  • Maintain structured issue logs, trackers, and inputs using Smartsheet and/or Excel to support downstream analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with contractor schedulers to review lookaheads, critical activities, and upcoming constraint risks.
  • Support the translation of field-captured data into Power BI dashboards used by Client leadership to assess progress, risks, and required interventions.
  • Partner with AtkinsRéalis digital delivery and analytics teams to ensure field inputs are technically usable, complete, and aligned with reporting standards.
  • Help identify trends, recurring issues, and systemic risks impacting data center delivery and escalate insights appropriately.
  • Participate in dashboard reviews, walkthroughs, and presentations with Client leadership, explaining key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted, professional representative of Client onsite, supporting contractors while maintaining neutral, data-driven communication.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation describing data sources, issue definitions, and field reporting processes to support consistency and continuity.

About you
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent practical experience in construction or project delivery environments will be considered.

Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting construction projects, project controls, scheduling, analytics, or field coordination roles.
  • Direct experience working onsite with construction teams, contractors, or superintendents preferred.
  • Experience supporting or interpreting Primavera P6 schedules, including activities, WBS structures, and lookahead planning.
  • Experience capturing, organizing, and maintaining structured project data for reporting or analytics purposes.

Special skills:
  • Strong familiarity with Primavera P6 schedules and construction sequencing concepts.
  • Proficient in Excel and/or Smartsheet for structured data capture, issue tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience with or exposure to Power BI dashboards, including understanding data structure, visuals, and executive reporting needs.
  • Highly personable with the ability to build trust and rapport with contractor teams and site leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate field discussions into clear, concise data and insights.
