Job Summary:The Marketing & CommunicationsAssistantis a creative, community-minded positionassistingour Marketing and Development Department in bothday-to-dayoperations as wellas preparing for future eventsin accordance withCSBG and other funding sourceguidelines.TheAssistantwill gain experience in and exposure to social media strategy, branding,storytellingand event promotion, with opportunities tobuildaprofessional portfolio.

JobResponsibilities:

  • Creating social media content and graphics
  • Assistingwith photo and video editing and short-form video concepts
  • Writing community impact stories and fundraising messaging
  • Researching social media trends and marketing ideas
  • Supporting event planning and promotion
  • Developing creative campaign ideas for community programs
  • Supporting community impact initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Standard office environment.Requires ability tooperatea telephone,personal computer, camera, and videorecorderfor extended periods of time.Occasionallocaltravel.
