Job Description
An established manufacturing company is seeking a Preventative Maintenance team member to support CNC and screw machine production areas. In this role, you’ll help keep CNC, ACME, and Davenport machines clean, organized, supplied, and production-ready. You’ll perform routine machine cleaning and lubrication, handle materials and scrap, replenish production supplies, and assist operators with changeovers and general production needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean CNC, ACME, and Davenport machines, workstations, and surrounding production areas, removing chips, scrap, oil buildup, and debris.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and lubrication as directed, empty chip hoppers and scrap containers, and complete required maintenance and housekeeping checklists.
  • Move, load, and stage raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while replenishing tooling, fluids, and production supplies.
  • Assist machine operators with cleanouts, changeovers, and other general production support.
  • Follow established safety procedures and report machine concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working around CNC, ACME, or Davenport machines is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to safely use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and provide support to machine operators.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and wear required PPE.
  • Reliable attendance and a team-oriented approach.
