Delicato Family Vineyards (DFV Wines) has an immediate opportunity for a Inventory Analyst - Cased Goods based in Manteca reporting to the Director of Business Services.
DFV Wines is a family-owned winery with over 87 years of experience in California winemaking and winegrowing. Well known for its steadfast commitment to crafting wines of the highest quality, the DFV Wines' portfolio consists of Gnarly Head, Bota Box, 337/181, Brazin, Loredona, Black Stallion, Massimo, Irony, Twisted, and Delicato.
Position Summary:
Provides a high level of complex analytical and technical analysis in the auditing and analyzing of case goods inventories, identifying / evaluating discrepancies, and reconciling variances in SAP. Generates all inventory Item Codes in SAP ensuring the database infrastructure accurately supports Federal TTB regulations. Responsible for ensuring integrity of internal processes which maintain accuracy of federal compliance records for all bonded premises. Work is generally of a critical nature, requiring development of a broad working knowledge of federal and state industry compliance requirements.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:
Maintain integrity of the SAP System by:
a) Auditing all inventory stock transactions, determining information is accurately recorded. Where there are discrepancies position is responsible for reversal and subsequent correcting entries
b) Auditing all Case Goods Bottling Work Orders for accuracy and timely closing, identifying discrepancies and working with the Bottling Scheduling Manager to ensure accurate reversal and subsequent correcting entries
c) Identifying and reconciling SAP inventory variances. This process requires a high degree of knowledge with the SAP and Radio Beacon software as well as a high level of competency in Inventory Management utilizing Standard Accounting Principles
d) Generating Case Goods Item Codes in SAP which ensure the database infrastructure accurately supports Federal TTB regulation requirements
e) Determining where needed and providing SAP training on SOP processes and procedures
f) Reconciling off-site case goods inventory transactions and month end inventories, including Bailment inventories
g) Work concurrently with the State Compliance Manager and Accounting Staff to support the Case Goods physical inventory process through reconciliation
Analyze and evaluate internal inventory procedures and controls providing direction and support in identifying problems and recommending cost effective solutions to inventory control users.
Analyze/Audit Corporate Month To Date Activity Report; Research/Resolve discrepancies; and complete month end inventory close
Practice and encourage open communication and problem solving skills which cultivate a high level of team interaction

Position Requirements:
Education: 1-2 Years college Preferred
Experience: 4-5 years in related field of work, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong analytical skills
Knowledge: Type 45 wpm, 10-key by touch, Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong record keeping skills.
