Assistant Teaching Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis

About this opportunity:
The Department of Special Education welcomes applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Candidates for contract faculty searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you'll do and what you will bring:
Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Teach online courses related to Applied Behavior Analysis
B. Participate in departmental and program area faculty meetings; serve on committees
C. Maintain office hours during the week
D. Collaborate with other faculty in Special Education as appropriate
E. Other responsibilities as assigned by the department chair and/or program director(s).
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis or Special Education, Psychology, or related field with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential and licensure in the state of IN at time of employment.
  • Current BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
  • Candidates for contract faculty searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral Level (BCBA-D)
  • Experience teaching online courses in Applied Behavior Analysis/Autism
  • Three or more years of post-certification experience working in the field of ABA
  • Prior experience teaching graduate-level courses in an online format
  • Active role in ABA-related professional associations.

Required Certifications/Licensures:
  • Current BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
  • Eligible for licensure as a Behavior Analyst in accordance with Indiana state law
