LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented
Temporary Data Entry / Accounting Support Specialist to assist with high-volume data entry and basic accounting functions in St. Louis, MO. This role supports the accounting team with accurate processing of financial information and administrative tasks during a peak period.
Title: Accounting Support Specialist (Temporary)
Location: St. Louis, MO
Compensation will vary on specific experience: $20.00 - $25.00 per/hourKey Responsibilities- Enter and update financial data accurately into accounting systems
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Perform basic reconciliations and identify data discrepancies
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records
- Support month-end close preparation as needed
- Assist with general administrative tasks for the accounting team
Qualifications- 1+ year of data entry, accounting, or administrative experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry systems
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Prior experience in a temporary or contract role
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
