What are temp workers?

Temp workers, or temporary workers, are individuals hired to work for a limited period of time, often through staffing agencies. They help companies fill short-term staffing needs due to seasonal demands, special projects, or employee absences. Temp workers can be placed in a wide range of industries and roles, and their assignments can last from a single day to several months. While they are not permanent employees, temp work can sometimes lead to full-time positions. Temp jobs offer flexibility for both employers and workers.

Temp workers can increase earnings by taking on multiple assignments, working overtime, or seeking higher-paying roles that require specialized skills.
