Job description

We are looking for a fun, engaged, multi tasker for our Cambridge and Jamaica Plain offices both located near the T.
You'll meet great people, partake in the stress of our daily lives, and all in all you'll probably love this job. Event Temps is celebrating our 18th year and we are the premier provider of professional part time catering wait staff, bartenders, cooks & kitchen personnel for our catering and food service clients.
We need someone who can speak professionally with our clients, and at the same time, deal with our young, sometimes crazy temp staff and help them with scheduling, paychecks, "T" directions and uniforms. You will do data entry, interview applicants and answer phones like a mad person.
You must have at least 1 year of of experience in a fast paced office setting where you have demonstrated a sense of urgency and attention to detail. Catering, restaurant, or client service experience preferred. This is an exciting, demanding and highly responsible position.
While skill is important, we emphasize professionalism, respect for diversity, a great attitude about serving people, and have a deep respect for fellow workers and clients.
You must have:
Excellent verbal & written communication and client service skills
Experience with word and Excel required
Experience juggling phones & data entry
A college degree or commensurate experience
Demonstrated interpersonal skills interacting with diverse employees
1 year of full time solid office experience is required.
Experience with employment interviews is a plus.
