Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt - A Research Assistant is a full-time Penn graduate student engaged to aid the research of an investigator or a member of the faculty. The work, even if carried out in the home department, is not a requirement for the degree. (Note: Undergraduates are not eligible for these positions but should be paid hourly as student workers or work-study students.)
