Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator / Purchasing Coordinator to support purchase orders, project coordination, and administrative functions in a fast-paced office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, working with vendors, tracking orders, and ensuring documentation is accurate and organized. This is a 100% on-site, temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities - Office Administrator / Purchasing Coordinator
  • Create purchase orders from Bills of Material (BOMs) and coordinate material orders through distributors
  • Track materials and equipment from purchase through delivery, ensuring timely updates on order status
  • Communicate delivery schedules and status updates to Service Coordinators and Project Managers
  • Compile timesheets and job information to support customer billing processes
  • Assist with invoice and billing documentation preparation
  • Maintain filing systems for test results, project records, and related documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the Service Supervisor and office team
  • Ensure purchasing and project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
Qualifications - Office Administrator / Purchasing Coordinator
  • Previous experience in purchasing, administrative support, accounts payable, billing support, or office coordination
  • Experience creating and managing purchase orders preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track orders, invoices, and documentation
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up, and time management skills
