Job description:
Scope of Services: The systems analyst staff augmentation position in the Procurement Office will support implementing new systems and business processes, application enhancements and reporting capabilities. Tasks include developing designs and functional specifications for enhancements or Technology Refreshes of Procurement applications, producing deliverables related to Procurement Information Technology projects, application modifications, assisting in post implementation support, data analysis and report writing. This individual would be responsible for gathering, compiling, and synthesizing information regarding Procurement technology processes and systems.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of systems analysis/programming experience.
Primary Job Duties/Tasks:
1. Develop new systems and processes for the FDOT Procurement Office
2. Provide quality assurance on code fixes for existing application
3. Develop Procurement Reports
4. Provide maintenance support for newly implanted Procurement Applications
5. Provide support to users of the Procurement Applications
6. Identify, analyze, and resolve issues with Procurement systems
7. Work with a team to implement technology solutions for the FDOT Procurement Office
8. Communicate with stakeholders and partners such the FDOT Office of Information Technology
9. Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies and methodologies
Job Specific Knowledge Skills and Abilities: SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, Azure SQL, Power BI, Informatica, Snowflake, C#, .NET, DevOps, Azure Cloud, Sharepoint, Excel.
