China Telecom (Americas) Corporation

Project Manager (Herndon, VA)

Telecommuting option available; may reside anywhere in the contiguous United States.

Coordinate the company’s service delivery, products, and service implementations. Serve as the point of contact for customers, the sales team, and subvendors on service delivery issues to ensure timely delivery. Plan projects to meet RFS (Request for Service) dates. Maintain and provide regular status reports on multiple projects. Organize project kickoffs and coordinate meetings and conferences. Inform customers and the sales team of project updates. Develop test and service acceptance criteria. Partner with China Telecom Headquarters and Provincial PTTs for provisioning processes and updates. Engage with all subvendors to ensure timely service deliveries. Utilize existing IT platforms (BOSS, CRM) to maintain inventory.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, information systems, operations management, or a similar technical or business field, and two years of experience in project management in the telecommunications, internet, or a similar technology industry.
  • Experience with analytical, database, and presentation software.
  • Functional knowledge of private circuits, such as PLC or EPL, and general IP products and services, such as IP Access,

MPLS, VPN, or IT security for enterprise.

  • Fluency in Mandarin.
