What does a Telecom Program Manager do?

A Telecom Program Manager oversees and coordinates large-scale telecommunications projects within an organization. Their responsibilities include planning, executing, and closing projects related to telecom infrastructure, network upgrades, and service deployments. They work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Additionally, they often manage risk, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical knowledge of telecommunications systems.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Telecom Program Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Telecom Program Manager, you need strong project management skills, a deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, and typically a degree in engineering, IT, or a related field.
