Region Sales Manager Analytics

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for our Analytical products to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid out of the Central or Eastern parts of the U.S, with 30-50% Travel Required. #LI-Hybrid

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the regional/global channel sales strategy for ABB's Analytical portfolio across key industries including Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Semiconductor, and Water/Wastewater, ensuring alignment with overall sales and marketing objectives while driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and partner-led business development.

  • Lead annual business planning, forecasting, and performance assessments for channel partners, establishing measurable growth objectives and accountability for orders, revenue, pipeline development, and market penetration within targeted industrial sectors.

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with channel partners, distributors, representatives, and system integrators, ensuring effective communication, joint sales planning, market development activities, technical training, and promotional programs that strengthen ABB's position within critical process industries.

  • Establish and govern channel partner evaluation, certification, and development standards, including market segmentation, customer due diligence, cybersecurity compliance, and industry-specific requirements, while ensuring partners are equipped to support complex applications and customer needs across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Semiconductor, and Water markets.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of sales, business development, or channel management experience within the Process Analytical industry

  • Strong understanding of the Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Semiconductor, and/or Water/Wastewater markets, including their operational challenges, regulatory requirements, procurement processes, and channel ecosystems.

  • Proven success developing distributor, representative, integrator, and channel partner networks while driving sustained revenue growth and market share expansion within process industry verticals.

  • Experience supporting complex go-to-market strategies in diverse industry segments driving channel partners in dynamic circumstances.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 30-50% of the time, domestically and internationally.

  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $160,800 annually and is bonus eligible.
