Our client, a Multi billion dollar Global Consumer Products Organization with a focus on employee satisfaction and motivated by a team environment where the management truly works to engage their employees is looking for a Sr Deployment Analyst to facilitate and manage activities in the deployment of systems solutions as a member of the Deployment Team.

Job Description

The Senior Deployment Analyst works with stakeholders - both leadership and subject matter experts from the business and IT - to assist in the successful implementation of business solutions. This position facilitates and manages activities in the deployment of systems solutions as a member of the Deployment Team. This entails the following key activities:  

  • Managing project go-lives including site readiness, support, and communications
  • Performing risk and contingency planning for system go-lives
  • Planning and managing pre go-live Business Simulations to confirm solution
  • Managing transition of the solution to the long term production support team
  • Defining and monitoring solution stabilization metrics after go-live
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree required in Technology, Business, Engineering or related field, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system including at least 6 months of experience with Deployment/Cutover activities, SAP preferred
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) required, advanced Excel skills including v-lookup preferred
  • Project Management experience using Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Server, 2 years preferred
  • Good leadership skills in the following areas: communication, change management, technology, and general business analysis
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into various forms of documentation
  • Ability to develop an understanding of business processes
  • Understanding of the technology architecture and infrastructure for IT solutions
  • Ability to understand the value of IT solutions within the context of Client's business environment
  • Negotiation and influence management skills
  • Ability to lead people and project work, and interact with varying levels of management
  • Ability to work within a virtual team environment, including virtual resource management
  • Advanced  presentation, organization and facilitation skills
  • Experience managing a matrix project team (team without your direct reporting responsibility authority)
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting
  • Experience with change management, project risk mitigation, and issue management
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful track record of managing large IT deployments
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Must be able to work additional hours and weekends as required by project deployment activities
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally
