 Information Technology Resource Teacher - Riverlawn Elementary School

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Holds or eligible for a Virginia teaching license in elementary school with an endorsement in appropriate subject area
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subject content, curriculum, methodology of effective teaching
  • Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs
  • Skilled in the use of multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with students, peers, administrators, and parents
  • Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications; excellent human relations skills
  • A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience with proficiency in the use of a wide variety of up-to-date technology-related instructional equipment. Proficiency in public speaking and written communication to express and/or exchange ideas.  Sensitive to people and their concerns. Able to handle responsibility, work independently, and maintain collaborative working relationships with students, families, staff, co-workers and community agencies.   


Reports to: Principal/Director of Technology
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) status: Exempt
Months/Days/Hours: 10 months, 200 days, 7.5 hours per day
Salary Level: Licensed
Salary Scale:  10 Month Teacher Salary
