firstPRO is seeking a IT Manager – Enterprise Solutions who is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and ongoing support of enterprise applications that support Human Resources, Legal, Enterprise Learning Management, and other corporate business functions. This individual will manage a team of IT Developers, Analysts, and external vendor partners while overseeing a portfolio of SaaS platforms and internally developed applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR, Legal, Learning Management, and IT leadership to develop and execute the application strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Align technology initiatives with business objectives, digital transformation efforts, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through system enhancements, automation, and technology innovation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating business needs into effective technology solutions.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of SaaS platforms and internally developed applications.
  • Manage the full application lifecycle, including upgrades, maintenance, integrations, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure solutions remain secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT Developers, Analysts, and support professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and customer-focused team environment.
  • Establish priorities, manage workloads, and support professional growth while driving operational excellence and project success.
  • Oversee a portfolio of application initiatives, including system enhancements, integrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Manage project planning, prioritization, resource allocation, capacity planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining stability of existing production systems.
  • Support long-term technology planning and investment strategies.
  • Manage relationships with SaaS providers, implementation partners, and technology vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance, contract compliance, service levels, and project deliverables.
  • Ensure vendors align with organizational standards, security requirements, and delivery expectations.
  • Ensure enterprise applications comply with cybersecurity standards, data privacy regulations, internal IT policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support governance activities including change management, user access controls, system audits, and JSOX compliance.
  • Promote best practices around security, operational controls, and application governance.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive IT experience with at least 3–5 years of people management experience leading technical teams.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise business applications across HR, Legal, Learning Management, or other corporate functions.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS applications, enterprise software ecosystems, and internally developed business applications.
  • Previous hands-on software development experience with enterprise technologies, programming languages, or application frameworks.
  • Experience leading application implementations, upgrades, integrations, and operational support.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong project and portfolio management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.
  • Proven ability to lead within a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM, Workday, or Dayforce.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), document management solutions, or enterprise communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles, cloud-based applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives including JSOX, internal audits, and data privacy regulations.
