IXL Learning, a developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Learning team and support mid-size districts in Pennsylvania.

At IXL Learning, professional learning is more than delivering training; it's about partnering with educators to transform teaching and learning in their classrooms, schools, and districts. As an Implementation Specialist, you will support mid-size districts to ensure a successful IXL implementation. You'll serve as a reliable partner and IXL expert, sharing practical strategies for using IXL to advance their district initiatives, delivering high-quality professional development, leading data reviews, and supporting strategic planning. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organized, instructional leader who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment. The ideal candidate is a polished communicator and engaging presenter with experience in instructional coaching or school leadership, and is excited to travel to support districts in Pennsylvania. 

This is a full-time remote position for candidates living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Partner with district leaders to provide implementation support to mid-size districts  
  • Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation 
  • Travel regionally to support assigned districts, including facilitating in-person professional development and conducting quarterly visits -up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year
  • Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to drive engagement and usage of IXL
  • Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps
  • Partner with the Sales team to effectively manage and grow customer relationships, including supporting districts piloting IXL and other pre-sales opportunities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience teaching in a K-12 setting; instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech PD experience strongly preferred  
  • 2+ years of experience providing professional development
  • Experience supporting district implementations strongly preferred
  • Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills-dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
  • Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
  • Strategic thinker and problem-solver
  • Must live close to a major airport
