Job description

SERV Behavioral Health System, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Implementation Training Specialist to lead the training and organizational readiness for our implementation of the iCareManager (iCM) Eletronic Health Record.  The project-focused role will develop the training strategy, translate workflows into practical learning materials, track readiness, coordinate super-users and support staff through go-live and early stabilization.  
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops the implementation plan and training strategy for organization-wide Electronic Health Record system implementation;   identifies training needs by role, workflow, department and implementation phase, and coordinates training schedules;
  • Collaborates with the iCareManager implementation team, stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand system functionality and approved workflows;
  • Participates in testing and configuration reviews, identifies gaps and training needs, escalates issues to project stakeholders;
  • Develops organization-specific, plain-language training materials including user guides, quick-reference guides, job aids, presentations and FAQs;
  • Provides instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training sessions for staff, supervisors, super-users and assigned groups as appropriate;
  • Uses practical examples, exercises and demonstrations to ensure learner understanding and readiness;
  • Monitors completion of training assignments and provides updates to leadership as needed;
  • Supports go-live implementation by coordinating training resources, monitoring common obstacles and frequent questions, updating materials and addressing urgent training needs;
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary to support departmental or organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear, practical instructions for a broad and diverse audience with varying skill levels
  • Technical aptitude to learn new systems quickly and understand effects of configuration on workflows
  • Excellent communication skills, project management skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and associated collaboration tools;  Familiarity with iCareManager is a plus
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between worksites
REQUIRED LICENSES & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Instructional Design, Information Technology, Project Management, Training and Development, Education or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    3-5 years’ experience developing and delivering role-based training, e-learning, learning management system content and train-the-trainer content in a healthcare, behavioral health, human services or technology environment
  • Experience creating training materials for EHR systems or equivalent scale software applications and workflows
  • Experience with change management and organizational readiness activities
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence plus three‑year driving history and a driving record in good standing
SALARY:
  • $78,000.00 per year.
