The individual will promote the consistent application of standards and foster a collaborative work environment, while breaking any silos across the service families to align implementation best practices, reduction of execution risks, managing vendor partnerships effectively, and balancing timelines and budgets tied to implementations of service families.

The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing our complex business service flows across front, middle, and back office operating models for our Alpha Clients, with responsibilities to drive Implementation activities across multiple Alpha Middle Office products and services. They will define and drive the execution of our long-term business strategy, internal business cases, solutions and all legal and committee reviews as relates to Implementation service functions. They will also oversee due diligence with our clients and vendors, driving the strategic solution design, business architecture, and business solutions/services, whilst driving program/project execution and reporting. What you will be responsible for

As Global Head of Middle Office Product Implementations you will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of Implementation activities across Front Office Support, Cash Services, Account Services, Trade Lifecycle Management, Collateral Management, Investment Accounting and Performance.

You will supervise Implementation Managers and drive implementation standards and best practices.

A successful Global Head of Middle Office Product Implementations must have in depth knowledge of the Alpha Service Offering, experience leading organizations through complex transformational change and the ability to build relationships and engage effectively at executive levels.

  • Set the standard for a team of cross functional Implementation Managers for implementation artifacts and best practices
  • Create implementation synergies across all service families targeted to reduce execution risk and timelines of implementations
  • Serve as the central escalation point and decision maker to internal stakeholders and the regional head of Implementation Program Executives, as well as externally to the clients
  • Collaborate closely with product leads across Alpha to align client requirements and influence their roadmap and prioritization
  • Harmonize data collection processes and enhance data governance controls to reduce risks tied to configurations
  • Champion efforts to automate data collection, validation, and integration functions to reduce manual touchpoints and key person dependency risks
  • Develop clear implementation service goals focused on timeliness, accuracy, and cost efficiency
  • Promote cross pollination across Service Families to break silos, share information, elevate issues, and improve work sentiment
  • Build and foster relationships across the wider Alpha organization to drive ways to work better
  • Enforce continuing maintenance and reinvestment in Implementation Artifacts to ensure advancements and lessons learned are incorporated in a timely manner
  • Drive cost efficiencies from vendor partners via informed utilization, clear service expectations, and uniform accountability
  • Enhance implementation estimate processes via a consistent methodology and incorporation of prior experience
  • Partner with Implementation Program Executives, Global Delivery, and Clients to drive adherence to Alpha standards and or agreed client requirements.
  • Minimize customization and ensure deviations are identified as change and incorporated into deal financials
  • Manage the partnership between CRD and Alpha under Alpha Integration and Configuration Standards (AICS) to effect and influence outcomes that allow for an efficient working relationship which demonstrates Alpha as 'One State Street' for our clients.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of industry experience with front, middle, and back-office integration, functionality, and platforms
  • Strong knowledge of existing State Street organizational constructs and teams required, in addition to deep understanding of middle and back-office systems, functions and services supported at State Street
  • Proven ability to work effectively with executive management
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with clients
  • Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs and capabilities to influence change
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
