Digital Implementation Manager

The successful applicant for this position will be an integral contributor towards this goal and we will support your professional development as part of our multi-cultural, customer-centric global team.

Job Purpose

The Digital Implementation Manager is responsible for working with our Central Product Management office to localize the National Grid Digital Operation Model.

Key Accountabilities
  • Owner of the Business Units Digital Journey implementation plan and roadmap
  • Develop and maintain a backlog of agile improvement opportunities.
  • Secure, oversee, and monitor efficacy of agile coaching resources.
  • Monthly Digital journey reporting to stakeholders
  • Lead teams on the appropriate usage of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
  • Day to day management of CPO pivots
  • Coordination of Agile Training (SAFe, SCRUM, etc)
Qualifications and Experience

8+ years experience as agile coach or agile change manager/Scrum Master with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe. Expert knowledge of Agile Lifecycle Management tools, particularly JIRA and JIRA Align. Understanding of the business value of development decisions and how they affect the lifecycle of the product. Good understanding of operational management and business priorities. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to deal with multiples stakeholders across different business lines and organizational levels. Self-driven, with the ability to solve problems. Conceptual and analytical capabilities to deal with ambiguities. Good knowledge of different delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid. Proven track record of Agile coaching / practice in a large organization.

Required Skills: 1. Soft Skill - need to be a change agent, work well with executives/ not a follower 2. Looking for someone who was a former agile coach/ agile leader/RTE/Senior Program Manager within Agile/technology - looking for 8 years of experience 3. Agile and technology experience (do not need to have an energy background) Basic Qualification: Candidates must be local to the Boston/Waltham, MA area to go on-site as needed.
