Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Process Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team in Brazil, Indiana. This onsite role plays a critical part in optimizing, troubleshooting, and improving chemical manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and high-quality plant operations.
The Process Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives, analyze production data, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, R&D, and EHS teams. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational performance through process optimization, technology implementation, and engineering innovation.

Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Lead process improvement initiatives focused on:
Analyze manufacturing processes using data-driven methods to identify:
Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing:
Monitor and improve key process performance indicators (KPIs)
Manufacturing Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support to daily plant operations and production teams
Troubleshoot process issues and equipment failures in real time
Conduct root cause investigations for:
Process deviations
Equipment failures
Quality issues
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve reliability and process stability
Support startup, commissioning, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and systems
Process Documentation & Engineering Support
Develop, maintain, and update process documentation including:
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Process flow diagrams
Operating parameters and specifications
Assist with engineering evaluations, process modifications, and operational improvements
Support Management of Change (MOC) activities and documentation requirements
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
Support implementation of:
New products
Process changes
Equipment upgrades
Automation solutions
Coordinate with vendors and contractors on engineering and improvement projects
Data Analysis & Technology Implementation
Monitor process data and operational trends
Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track process performance
Utilize statistical analysis and process modeling techniques to improve manufacturing consistency
Evaluate and implement new technologies to modernize plant operations and improve efficiency
