Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
  • Lead the design, preparation, and continuous improvement of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations across multiple business lines
  • Play a key role in month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statement accuracy
  • Drive process optimization and implement best practices to support scalable, timely, and accurate reporting
  • Support revenue, WIP, AR, and expense accounting activities, ensuring proper classification and compliance

Must-Have Skills & Experience (Required)
  • 3 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with account reconciliations and month-end close
  • Demonstrated success improving or redesigning accounting processes
  • High level of technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in data-driven environments
  • Curiosity and readiness to work with modern analytics tools (Power BI, AI-enabled reporting)

Preferred Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Experience working in multi-entity or project-based environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage or similar platforms preferred)
  • Salesforce a plus!
