Job description

What You'll Do

This position is responsible for assisting Facilities Engineers and Facilities Manager with general maintenance and repair in the Casino, Hotel, and property grounds. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Dependable attendance is required and nights, weekends, holidays and overnights may be scheduled to meet deadlines.

  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
  • Adhere to all property and department policy and procedures.
  • Ensure Guest service standards.
  • Interact with Guests and fellow Team Members in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Complete minor repair work and basic plumbing tasks.
  • Perform regular cleaning duties, which include, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, mopping and vacuuming.
  • Assist in maintaining outdoor areas, i.e., mowing, trimming, edging, shoveling.
  • Assist in taking inventory of supplies.
  • Promptly respond to requests.
  • Work safely and efficiently, utilizing safe equipment, techniques, and products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with Event set up.
  • Perform other tasks assigned.
Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • General Maintenance experience and knowledge preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written. Read, write, and speak English fluently.

Must have ability to:

  • To secure lift and fork truck certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Work periodically under conditions of extreme urgency (creating higher levels of job stress).
  • Work independently and use good judgment.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
