Job description

Role Overview
Fit:Match is seeking a Technical Product Manager to sit at the intersection of product and engineering across our full Body AI portfolio - healthcare, sports, and retail. This role owns product strategy and execution while staying close enough to the technical architecture to make sound trade-offs on feasibility, sequencing, and system design alongside engineering. You'll work across QuadraScan and our clinical platform, translating requirements from a range of domains - clinical, athletic, retail/apparel - and business and technical constraints into a coherent, well-sequenced roadmap.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can move fluidly between writing a spec, reviewing an architecture diagram, and explaining a trade-off to leadership. A nice-to-have: prior hands-on software engineering experience, particularly having helped shape the technical foundation of an early-stage product or company before moving into product management.
Responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap for one or more areas of the Body AI portfolio, balancing requirements across healthcare, sports, and retail with consumer needs and technical constraints
  • Translate ambiguous problems - domain-specific workflows, computer vision capabilities, data pipelines - into clear specs, requirements, and prioritized backlogs
  • Partner directly with engineering on system design and architecture decisions, understanding trade-offs well enough to make informed calls on scope and sequencing
  • Define and track success metrics for product initiatives, using data and product analytics to guide prioritization and identify what's working
  • Work cross-functionally with domain experts - clinicians, sports scientists, retail and apparel partners - along with design and leadership, to align product decisions with both user needs and technical reality
  • Manage the full product lifecycle: discovery, definition, delivery, and post-launch iteration
  • Help establish and evolve product processes, tooling, and documentation standards as the company scales
  • Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product management, with direct, ongoing collaboration with engineering teams
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience with computer vision, machine learning, or 3D/spatial data products, or Prior hands-on software engineering and/or data architecture experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and reason about technical architecture - comfortable in conversations about system design, data flow, APIs, and technical trade-offs, even without writing production code day to day
  • A track record of shipping complex, technically demanding products from ambiguous requirements to launch, guided by sound product judgment
  • Comfort defining success metrics and working with product analytics to inform decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, resource-constrained startup environment, including experience establishing product processes at an early-stage company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in measurement-critical or performance-critical domains, such as healthcare, sports/athletic performance, retail/apparel, or comparable fields
  • Experience designing products that present probabilistic or ML-driven output in a clear, trustworthy manner
  • Experience working directly with domain experts such as clinicians, athletic trainers, or retail/apparel partners to translate specialized requirements into product decisions
