Position Overview

We are seeking a WAVE Technical Systems Manager (TSM) to administer, maintain, and support the Motorola WAVE platform, ensuring system availability, interoperability, and operational readiness in support of the Primary/DSR Core.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support the Motorola WAVE platform, ensuring system availability and interoperability
  • Support Primary/DSR Core operations from the Orlando facility
  • Troubleshoot WAVE connectivity and interoperability issues across LMR, LTE, and satellite-based communications pathways
  • Coordinate WAVE-related system updates and configuration changes with the DHS Cloud Team and TACCOM engineering staff
  • Support testing, deployment, and operational readiness reviews for WAVE-based interoperability solutions
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience administering the Motorola WAVE platform or comparable push-to-talk-over-cellular (PoC) interoperability systems
  • Experience supporting 24/7/365 mission-critical communications core operations
  • Working knowledge of LMR, LTE, and satellite-based tactical communications integration
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of equivalent experience
