Technical Systems Engineer
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD(Eligible for Telework after 60 days)
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
What you will do
In this role, you'll:
  • Architect & Document: Review, revise, and create technical architecture documents to ensure system designs meet mission requirements.
  • Define System Communication: Collaborate with other technologists to determine system communication contracts and ensure seamless integration.
  • Lead Strategic Sessions: Facilitate Engineering Review Board (ERB) sessions with NSA leadership, influencing key decisions and driving technical excellence.
  • Guide System Development: Prepare system engineering management plans, system integration plans, and test strategies to ensure smooth development and implementation.
  • Collaborate on Technical Challenges: Work closely with government stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges and provide expert guidance on system engineering considerations.
  • Communicate with Impact: Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Participating in Agile Ceremonies: Work with a larger team on two-week sprints, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.

What you need to have
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (required).
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 15+ years of systems engineering experience.

What we'd like you to have
Experience using Scaled Agile (SAFe), DoDAF and the Cameo architectural tool.
