The Opportunity
The Infrastructure Monitoring Tools Specialist will play a key role in implementing, administering, and optimizing monitoring solutions across enterprise systems. This position ensures proactive visibility into system health, preventing disruptions and maintaining optimal performance across the IT landscape.
Responsibilities
• Implement, integrate, and maintain infrastructure monitoring tools across production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with service providers and IT teams to identify operational impacts and set up proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Analyze incidents, identify patterns, and develop monitoring solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Create and maintain documentation to support monitoring operations and development.
• Develop and execute testing procedures following tool implementation.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing support of monitoring tools with outsourcing partners.
• Ensure timely updates, patches, and upgrades for monitoring systems.
• Provide instrumentation and metrics for proactive diagnostics and performance insight.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve IT efficiency.
• Manage problem resolution, system health visibility, and ITIL-based service maintenance.
• Ensure security remediation and compliance with all findings.

Qualifications
Required
• Proven experience administering and implementing monitoring solutions such as Forward Networks, Riverbed. Able to provide recommendations on tools that could prove useful to organization.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components - networks, Windows/Unix servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and databases.
• Proficiency in SQL, APIs, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell, YAML, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Experience leading tool integration projects and working with cross-functional teams.
