HVAC Technical Sales Representative Job Summary:
McClure Company Service is seeking a confident and initiative-taking technical sales professional to grow our HVAC Mechanical Services business within the Virginia/DC region. This position is responsible for building additional customer base and developing strong business relationships..
HVAC Technical Sales Representative Essential Functions:
  • With minimal supervision, presents the McClure Company offerings โ€“ particularly focused on the companyโ€™s target vertical markets; commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government.
  • Increase and maintain business opportunities by working with prospects and customers to identify their needs and present company products and services to meet those needs.
  • Create targeted and effective proposals, answer questions and objections in an effective and responsible manner.
  • Create cost estimates for HVAC Project and Maintenance scopes of work.
  • Survey mechanical systems, equipment, and job conditions.
  • Increase existing customer interaction and/or other services by maintaining ongoing relationships and insuring customer satisfaction.
  • Self generate leads within the identified vertical markets and geographical regions.
  • Leverage all of the McClure Company offerings to generate leads and cultivate additional opportunities.
  • Build rapport and positive working relationships with office staff, field personnel and management.
  • Become proficient on the McClure Company sales selling system.
  • Upholds rigorous adherence to workplace safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

HVAC Technical Sales Representative Experience, Technical Skills & Attributes Required:
  • Five (5) or more years of proven technical HVAC industry experience working directly with our target markets.
  • At least 2 years of proven solution selling experience working directly with our target markets.
  • HVAC Field experience preferred.
  • Professional, dynamic presence and ability to communicate with people of all levels.
  • Initiative-taking, relentless sales focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional level.
  • Ability to work independently in a demanding environment with measurable goals.
  • Keen intelligence and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year, excluding commissions or fringe benefits.  Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, &/or experience.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Position is full-time Monday - Friday
