Job description

As a Technical Project Manager, youโ€™ll lead the successful delivery of cloud, application modernization, and AI/ML projects across multiple client engagements. Youโ€™ll oversee technical teams, coordinate cross-functional resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. In this role, youโ€™ll work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to define project goals, manage risks, and maintain clear communication throughout delivery โ€” ensuring a high-quality customer experience and strong business outcomes across every engagement.ย 


What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Overseeing and providing direction to technical team members to ensure they are actively working towards established milestones
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to align resources to the project in line with the project timeline and need - just-in-time resourcing
  • Organizing, executing, and delivering differing projects such as: Cloud Migrations, Application Modernization and/or Development, and AI/ML focused projectsย  ย ย 
  • Communicating and providing visibility into project status on a regular basis to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring projects are delivered successfully within the original scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders at Innovative to define scope and customer goals, as well as managing potential risks and ensuring quality of services delivered
  • Effectively managing multiple projects at once, including project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Managing customer relationships
  • Presenting, reviewing, and gathering feedback on final deliverables with customers, along with looking for additional opportunities
  • Exceeding customer expectations by proactively communicating with all stakeholders involved in ensuring a high return on investment for each engagement

Required Skills:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience managing projects in the tech industry
  • Well-established knowledge of project management methodology
  • Demonstrated success in prior project management roles with ability to deliver high quality services and unmatched customer experiences
  • Proven ability to build, engage, and manage relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to achieve AWS Cloud Practitioner certification upon hire (must have), with desire to achieve an AWS Solutions Architect Associate (nice to have)

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in Public Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience managing or working with software developers, cloud engineers or DevOps teams
  • Conceptual understanding of development processes, languages, and infrastructure as code (ex. Python, Terraform)
  • Experience in successful delivery of cloud based solutions
  • Proven ability to build, engage, and manage relationships with both internal and externalย 
  • Demonstrated ability to hold internal and external resources to committed timelines and delivery dates
  • Unrelenting drive to deliver amazing customer experiences
  • Identifying risks, opportunities, gaps, and dependencies and recommending mitigations and solutions
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. agile/scrum) and tools used (e.g. Jira)
  • Ability to develop and execute on creative solutions to challenges and roadblocks
  • Ability to build lasting partnerships/relationships
  • Juggle multiple priorities with ease and have a high sense of urgency
  • Comfortable with pushing boundaries and technical limits (maintain technical aptitude and knowledge of industry)
  • Always learning and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the industries you serve
